Meet The Artist

Hello, My name is Christine. I am an Arizona native and former Labor and Delivery Nurse with 20 years of experience specializing in bereavement care.

A freak accident changed everything. I lost feeling in my left hand, developed a life altering nerve syndrome and was forced to step away from the career that had been my identity. What began as grief soon became a path of healing through creativity.

Art became my therapy-spray painting jars from the recycle bin, repurposing vintage jewelry, and roller skating as movement medicine. Over time, these small acts of expression gave way to Perfectly Imperfect Artz, a collection of functional and soulful art made almost entirely from upcycled and donated materials.

I create one-of-a-kind art by transforming wine bottles into wind chimes, vintage jewelry transformed into plant hangers, sun catchers, skatelets, trees of life and more. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, carrying a story of transformation, resilience, and community kindness.

My work is rooted in the belief that healing is never linear, beauty is found in imperfection, and nothing is ever truly broken beyond repair.

Thank you for being here. Christine

Upcycled with Love, Crafted for Connection

My Creations

My unique, one of a kind items are 95% made from upcycled materials found at thrift stores that donate back to the community. I cut wine bottles into wind chimes, turn spaghetti jars into eclectic vases, bracelets into trees of life, “Grandma’s jewelry” turned into sun catchers or beaded plant hangers with fresh propagated plants in painted pots, wine cork key chains and several other unique items.
