Meet The Maker

Hi, I'm Christine! And I am Perfectly Imperfect Artz.

I am an Arizona native and was a Labor and Delivery Nurse for 20 years.

I came up with creative ways to deal and heal after a freak accident caused loss of feeling in my hand, which suddenly developed into an incurable chronic illness, loss of career and identity. This propelled me on a very “long walk” of self discovery. I met some amazing beautiful humans, exchanged stories of grief, and felt love, kindness, and acceptance from complete strangers of all walks of life. I began spray painting glass jars from our recycle bin and chose roller skating for exercise. Both of these activities became my form of Art Therapy that continues to help me mentally, physically, and emotionally on a daily basis. This freak accident has caused me grief but it has also given me time and space to create and grow Perfectly Imperfect Artz.

Upcycled with Love, Crafted for Connection

My Creations

My unique, one of a kind items are 95% made from upcycled materials found at thrift stores that donate back to the community. I cut wine bottles into wind chimes, turn spaghetti jars into eclectic vases, bracelets into trees of life, “Grandma’s jewelry” turned into sun catchers or beaded plant hangers with fresh propagated plants in painted pots, wine cork key chains and several other unique items.
