🌿 Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Perfectly Imperfect Artz unique?
Every piece is one of a kind, handcrafted from 90–95% upcycled vintage jewelry, thrifted treasures, and reclaimed materials. No two creations are ever alike, making each piece as unique as you are.
Whenever possible, I choose to source my materials from thrift stores that give back to their local communities. It’s my way of supporting organizations that help others while creating unique, sustainable artwork that gives the past a new beginning and brings joy to a new home.
My mission is simple: Giving the Past a New Beginning.
Are the pots included?
Yes! Every plant hanger includes the vintage, thrifted, antique, or handmade pot shown in the photos unless otherwise noted.
How much weight will the Plant Hangers hold?
Most of my plant hangers safely hold up to 15 pounds, making them suitable for most small to medium houseplants.
Can I request a piece I’ve seen that has already sold?Â
Unfortunately, I’m unable to recreate sold pieces exactly because I rarely come across the same vintage jewelry, thrifted treasures, antique finds, and reclaimed materials twice, I’d be happy to create something with a similar style or color palette. Every piece is unique, sustainably created, and has its own story to tell.
How do I care for my art?
• Plant Hangers: Display indoors or on a covered patio away from prolonged sun and rain. Dust gently with a soft cloth. Avoid pulling or twisting the cords unnecessarily. If your hanger becomes tangled or needs an adjustment, please contact me before attempting repairs.
•Trees of Life: Display in a window where the crystals can catch the sunlight or hang from your vehicle’s rearview mirror. Each piece is created from vintage bracelets, chains, jewelry, and other reclaimed materials. Gently wipe with a soft cloth to remove dust. Avoid prolonged exposure to water. If your piece ever needs an adjustment or you have questions about its care, please contact me before attempting repairs. I’m always happy to help.Â
As with most artwork, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight over time may cause some materials to naturally fade or change in appearance.Â
Will my artwork show signs of age or need occasional adjustments?
Yes, and that’s part of what makes each piece unique. Many of the materials I use, including vintage pots, jewelry, bracelets, and other reclaimed treasures, have lived a previous life before becoming part of my artwork. Small signs of age, character, or natural wear are to be expected and are part of their story.
Because I work with vintage and upcycled materials, an occasional adjustment may be needed over time. If your plant hanger becomes tangled, a knot loosens, a Tree of Life needs attention, or you have any concerns about your artwork, please contact me before attempting to repair it yourself. I’m always happy to help and will work with you to find the best solution.
Do you take custom orders?
Yes! I love creating custom keepsakes using items that are meaningful to you. Whether it’s your own jewelry, heirloom pieces, a favorite teacup, bowl, mug, planter, or another special treasure, it’s a beautiful way to preserve memories and give “Grandma’s jewelry” or a cherished keepsake a new beginning. If you have an idea, I’d love to talk with you about it.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Ready-to-ship artwork is mailed promptly after purchase. Custom orders vary depending on the design and will be discussed before work begins.
 Do you ship internationally?
At this time, shipping is available within the U.S. If you’re outside the U.S. and interested in a piece, please reach out and we can explore options together.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because each piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind, all sales are final. If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days so I can make it right.
Where else can I see your art?
I occasionally exhibit at art festivals and markets throughout Arizona. Follow me on social media for upcoming events, new artwork, and behind-the-scenes updates.
Can I donate jewelry or other treasures to be used in your artwork?
Absolutely! Donations are always appreciated. I happily accept vintage jewelry, bracelets, necklaces, crystals, teacups, mugs, bowls, planters, and other unique treasures that can be given a new beginning through my artwork. If you’re unsure whether something can be used, I’d love to hear from you.
