☀️ Spirit of Two Suns
Meaningful | Vintage | Reimagined
Spirit of Two Suns is where two lands, two stories, and many hands meet. This piece came together slowly and intentionally, guided by intuition and respect for the artists and makers who came before me.
I found the vintage necklaces first. A week later, I discovered the handmade ceramic pot from Peru. It felt as though they had been waiting for each other.
One necklace, with large round glass spheres and a clay inspired design that others overlooked, immediately caught my eye. Thank you, Christian Family Care Thrift. The moment I saw it, I knew it belonged in this piece. I could already envision how it would connect with other vintage treasures I had gathered, even before finding the pot.
When I later discovered the handmade Peruvian pot, everything clicked. I reached out to the artist in Peru, who kindly shared their excitement about seeing their work honored and reimagined within mine. What began in different places and through different hands came together to tell a new story.
Created through upcycle, reimagined, reuse, and repurpose practices, Spirit of Two Suns reflects my mission of sustainable art and memory keeping.
Because every element is vintage, handmade, or individually sourced, Spirit of Two Suns is truly one of a kind. There will never be another exactly like it.

Created by Christine, a former Labor and Delivery nurse who developed CRPS after a life-changing injury. Each piece is part of my ongoing physical and emotional therapy and is intuitively designed from thrifted and donated treasures. Creating with these hands is difficult and time consuming, which is why every finished piece is celebrated.
